The Badlands, SD

Jim, Aidan and Ella doing the Fossil Hike - they have fossils they've found there encased in glass domes for you to see. Lots of prehistoric critters' remains have been found in the Badlands.


Aidan was in heaven, climbing all the rocks. Mama was nervous - there's huge canyons you can just drop off and fall into if you go off the man-made walkways. It was 106° there that day so we definitely got a taste of what makes the Badlands 'bad'.
